Charity Fest Visit – MES Preschool Teachers Training Institute (ECCEd Trainees)
On the occasion of Charity Fest, the MES Preschool Teachers' Training Institute (ECCEd trainees) had the privilege of visiting Abdullah Patel Girls’ Orphanage on 3rd October.
We were warmly welcomed by Ms. Mumtaz Ansari (Superintendent) and Ms. Farida Shaikh (Supervisor), who shared with us valuable insights about the institution and its tireless efforts in nurturing young lives.
It was a truly humbling and inspiring experience to meet the girls and witness the positive, family-like environment in which they are growing. Their confidence, discipline, and cheerful interactions left a lasting impression on us. The evident care, commitment, and dedication of the staff, along with the educational and extracurricular opportunities provided, reflect the orphanage’s sincere efforts in shaping well-rounded individuals.
As a small token of love and support, MES donated 2 cans of cooking oil, cake, and Frooti to the orphanage. In addition, our ECCEd trainees contributed snacks, chocolates, and clothes for the girls.
This visit not only deepened our understanding of community service but also reinforced the importance of compassion, empathy, and collective responsibility.
